WE ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE CANtastic

will be joining the

Home & Garden Show at Montana Expo Park!

CANtastic is a unique fundraising event where civic teams and local businesses, aided by local architects, purchase the materials (food) and build structures out of food (mostly cans), which are then judged and displayed during the event. The structures' cans are then donated to the Food Bank.

This is a fun, team building exercise as teams create their works of art over two 5-hour sessions on the Thursday and Friday before the "big day" when the public is invited to view the amazing structures.

Mall visitors are invited to “purchase a vote” for their favorite structure. The team that receives the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award. Other awards include "Judges Favorite," "Best Meal" and "Food Bank Favorite."

CANtastic is in support of Backpacks4Kids which provides packs of ready-to-eat, kid-friendly, shelf-stable meals that chronically hungry Great Falls children take home on weekends and holidays. It costs the Great Falls Community Food Bank approximately$150 to distribute these packs for a school year to one child. The public and businesses are invited to sponsor children for $150 per child for the entire school year. Each entity sponsoring a child will receive a poster by a local sixth-grade artist and a mention at the art gallery at the event.
